Miami Canners, situated in the Limpopo Province close to a small town called Letsitele, is owned and managed by Mark & Yolande Pieterse. Miami Canners was first established in 1984 by late Jan Welthagen (snr) and was known for their delicious jams. The Limpopo area’s climate has warm humid summers with mild winters allowing for a number of agricultural products to grow and thrive throughout the year. Miami Canners began to experiment with the various fresh produce they had at their disposal. The product lines increased from jammed products and began to branch into various products with 15 lines of various products available today on shelf under the Miami Canners brand.

2024 Area 2 Konferensie/Conference - Frankfort - Frankfort

On 6 February 2024 the FSWAU started its annual area conferences in Frankort in the Eastern Free State. 

The setting was the beautiful Siesta guest farm where lions can be viewed from your bedroom. 

Tables were decorated in white with pumkins from the neighbouring farms which guests were able to take home with them. The keynote speaker was the amazing Katrienkie who shared the story of her life with guests.

2024 Macrame workshops - Free State - Free State

A macrame competion was announced by SAWAU and this long lost craft had to be re-learnt in a matter of a few months.

Workshops were held all across the Free State and in the photos some members at work can be seen.

2024 Area 1 in the second half of 2024 - Northern Free State - Northern Free State

Kroonstad tak het Saterdag n Brood en Kruiewerkswinkel met groot sukses aangebied. Ds Joe Müller het die pggend op gepaste wyse geopen. Maryna Serfontein het vertel  van al die gebruike van kruie.  Artikels van die dames is uitgestal, asook UFOs (Unfinished Objects).

Ina Jagga het meer vertel oor die VLU.

Ysbreker was die wys wat in die dames se handsakke was, tot groot vermaak van die gaste. TVLU is pret

Area1 se nuwe sekretaresse, Ruane het haar goed van haar taak gekwyt met die ontwerp, uitleg en bind van die Resepteboekies. 110 Dames het die oggend bygewoon.

Koppies tak het n interessante oggend, ook op 9 Nov oor Royal Icing aangebied. 20 dames het die oggend bygewoon.
